A quick fix for ssh connection to you azure virtual machine.

Can't connect to your azure virtual machine?

You will need an access to your azure virtual machine through azure portal to be able to follow this guide.

  1.  go to Support + troubleshooting
  2. click Reset password menu

    Support menu

  3. click Reset configuration only

    Reset menu

  4. click update
  5. wait for the vm to reconfigure
  6. Try connecting with ssh to your azure vm

Still won't connect? now try reseting your password

  1. click Reset password only

    Reset password

  2. click update
  3. wait for the azure vm to reconfigure
  4. try connecting to your vm with ssh

Still won't connect? now try redeploying your azure vm

  1. go to Redeploy and Reapply menu

    Redeploy

  2. click the Redploy button

    Redeploy button

  3. wait for your azure vm to reconfigure (pray to who ever god you have)
  4. try connecting to your vm with ssh
